The day of the Advent of Saviour.

The day Merciful God was born.

The Son of God came down to spread the love of his Father.

He came, He loved, He conquered the hearts.

Wishing all my readers a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.

Am not going to write about the story of Christ, as we all very well know about it. But will share a few instances which touch us, the people, who love Him and for whom He cared. Many critics talk about His magical powers and challenge His authority over religion. Am going to share my views about those.

The most magical thing about Christ’s life is His resurrection from death. Did He truly die on the Cross? Did He get up from death? Many critics say no and tell us that He did not die on the Cross, He fell unconscious out of pain and so He never did resurrect. He just regained back His consciousness. I would say this is quite possible as there is no definite proof about the resurrection and we are dependent on the Holy Bible, which has different versions from His own disciples. In the same breath, I state, that this is a matter of faith and belief. If such a thought fortifies my belief in God, then so be it. I, for once, want my readers to understand that non-believers would spread their thoughts and ideas and we stick to ours. Am not against the agnostic, nor am of the view that they be kicked away from this life and the world, but they may have their views and I respect them without going into a debate or discussion about my beliefs. A debate is a medium to prove the superiority of oneself or one’s point over the other. But would Christ like it? Would Christ answer back? No, He would just go and embrace that man and spread His love. What I learn from Christ’s life is that Love everyone, beginning with oneself.

Another instance of His life is that He fed many from two loaves of bread. A cooked up story say some. But maybe He had two loaves and when He shared His food with the hungry, His disciples who might have hidden their food, shared theirs too with the hungry. And while sharing it, said that it is Christ who has sent it. A perfect example of demonstration of the Teacher to His disciples. Atleast my readers would perfectly understand the meaning of compassion and demonstration. Cause that is how our teachers are. They teach through their own action, “Acharya”.

There are many instances which can be cited and discussed. But I leave them for another day. I just say that, Yes, I believe in Christ and in all that He did which is attributed to Him and He did resurrect.

What I personally do not like is the way the Roman Catholic Church and the Evangilical Church have decided to spread His word! Conversion is no answer or solution to the problems faced by the world. At the same time, I bow down to the people who willingly give up life for this cause of spreading the word of Christ. Would any Hindu, Jew, Mohammedan go into the deep jungles of Africa, knowing for certain that Death is imminent, to spread the word of God? Go to uninhabited places and islands to spread the word of God? No individual or organisation should criticise the work/conversions being carried out, unless they themselves are trying to spread the word of God in their own way. Let us learn not to play to the gallery and try and imbibe these characteristics within us. Let anyone who wants to criticise or even talk about them, leave the sofa sets of their living rooms and go to the last person living in remote places.

In the end, I would just say that Christ said ‘Love Thy Neighbour‘, so let us learn by beginning to love ourselves. God, His Heaven and His Kingdom are all within us, let us learn to love Him and go closer to Him.

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread; and

Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
