Haiku #21

One who has control

Over body but not mind

Is a hypocrite… // 3 – 6 //

The state of a hypocrite. He can dupe the world with his outwardly behaviour but he cannot fool Bhagwaan. Internally there is no change inside.

Isn’t the world like this today? Aren’t we like this? One behaviour at home, another in social life and yet another at work place. Geeta is clear that this is nothing but hypocrisy. In the pursuit of truth, this might be the phase when we transit from our dual self to our self, but can it be for life? Let’s think and change…

The shlok for your reference :
Those who restrain the external organs of action, while continuing to dwell on sense objects in the mind, certainly delude themselves and are to be called hypocrites.
