Wishing you all a very happy 73rd Republic Day.

We are a Republic with a federal structure. But lest our leaders feel that they are the rulers then beware!

You become leaders because we choose you.

You become leaders because we decide to give the reins of the country in your hands.

You become leaders because we trust you and put our future in your hands.

Remember

We are a people waiting to be led but we are not followers.

We are a people waiting to be guided but we are not students.

We are a people waiting to listen to your thoughts but we have our own thoughts too.

So if by any chance you are under an impression that we are your “Praja” and you are the “Raja” then you are mistaken.

We are Shiva’s “gan” and so we are a “Gantantra”, it is Shiva who leads guides and motivates us and no one else.

So hear ye all Leaders! Teachers! Motivators! Planners! Developers! Moulders!

This is our country and we are free to choose…

At the same time,

We know the importance of humility and service to country.

We know the importance of gratitude and being grateful.

We know the importance of a God centric life.

So let’s together build this country, develop this country, mould this country as we all would like it to be…
