The post yesterday has revived me, my thought process and the way my readers have responded is overwhelming for me
Will share another incident which touched me today. Though not an incident but a thought by one of my friends daughter regarding schools run in Mother tongue.

She has been brought up in a very humble background and went to a Gujarati medium school. She is now studying in college. Joined NCC and pursuing it sincerely. Just last year on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Mumbai Gujarati Sangathan had organised a thought provoking competition on the topic, “Who is responsible for the state I am in today?”, ask the Vernacular schools run in the respective mother tongues. She participated and wrote a poem on it. The jury was very impressed with her entry and was adjudged as one of the few good entries. It was printed in the leading newspaper in Mumbai.
Today the girl is doing fine with her studies and loves her studies and is doing just excellent even after coming from a vernacular school.
I have many friends who come from vernacular medium schools and doing very good in life, economically as well as socially.
But She has lead me to think. To think whether a child should be educated in his mother tongue or English?
Where would the child grow?
Where would his/her natural abilities find a creative outreach and help the child attain the freedom of thought?
I dont want to share what I think and make you biased with my thoughts. But atleast I can urge you, my readers, to ponder over it.
So keep thinking and keep sharing!…
Ciao…
Congratulations to you and your daughter for the accomplishment.Best wishes for her,my message for her is to keep the pen stronger and remember that where there is a will there is a way.If she wishes then she will be unstoppable.Take care.🙏💐
