Limerick – 1

When the Prime Minister came to talk

The people of India He did stalk,

He talked about vocal,

Mumbaiites heard local,

Rushed to the station, now home we walk!!!

A limerick is a humourous 5 line poem with a rhyme scheme aabba.

The first, second and the fifth line have 8 to 10 syllables and the third and the fourth line have 5 to 7 syllables.

Have tried to write something. Hope you all like it. I know it may not be as humourous as it should be but will improve as days go by.
