Poem #14 – Happy New Year

The day begins with a faintish fawn,

Thats the colour of New Year dawn,

The minds filled with green lawns,

And the shining life tells us to play on…

It’s the new year and people will swear

Do something with their lives to wear,

To wander here, there and elsewhere,

Themselves and family to take care

Gone is a year and here comes the new,

Let’s talk about the things we did a few,

To start our lives, bidding grief adieu,

To pick up the straws last year strew…

Wishing all my friends, their families and my readers a very Happy and Prosperous New Year

  1. Happy New Year!!.. hope you have a wonderful New Year filled with hope, love and happiness and life is all that you wish for it to be!!.. 🙂

    Until we meet again!!.
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
May all the wishes you wish come true
    May peace be within you
    May your heart be strong
May you find whatever you’re seeking
    Wherever you may roam
