Haiku #30

You cannot study,

Act for me and you will find

Me, all-pervading… // 12 – 10 //

Bhagwaan tries to show his progeny the ways to find Him. Here He says if you cannot study (concentrate or devote) and find Him in the scriptures, then atleast a person should perform action, for his karma. Through actions and in actions also, one is able to find Him. But the motive behind the action should be for Him.

We all work from day to night. Rather toil hard. But what is the motive? Money, to keep our families happy, to keep oneself happy. Or maybe some other motive but never is it based for God. God always finds his place last. Can we give Him the first place? Think.

The shlok for your reference :
अभ्यासेऽप्यसमर्थोऽसि मत्कर्मपरमो भव ।
मदर्थमपि कर्माणि कुर्वन्सिद्धिमवाप्स्यसि ।।

If you cannot practice remembering Me with devotion, then just try to work for Me. Thus performing devotional service to Me, you shall achieve the stage of perfection.
