What to do, what not,

Listen to scriptures, likewise

Perform your duty… // 16 – 24 //

Again a brilliant answer to our question of what to do and what not? Bhagwaan says read the scriptures and follow them. Mind it, He does not say folow him, He says follow the scriptures. Such an open mind and such humility is a demonstration for us, the Rational animal.

तस्माच्छास्त्रं प्रमाणं ते कार्याकार्यव्यवस्थितौ ।
ज्ञात्वा शास्त्रविधानोक्तं कर्म कर्तुमिहार्हसि ।।
Therefore, let the scriptures be your authority in determining what should be done and what should not be done. Understand the scriptural injunctions and teachings, and then perform your actions in this world accordingly.
