Haiku #10

Even the sinner,

Who is devoted to me

He is a Sadhu (monk)…// 9 – 30 //

The shlok for people like us who sin at every step in life. Here Bhagwaan out of compassion just gives us a reason to lead a righteous life. Bhagwaan call such a person “sadhu” one who leads a life of a simpleton. The greatest of the assurances.

The shlok for your reference :

अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक्
साधुरेव स मन्तव्य: सम्यग्व्यवसितो हि स: ।।

Even if the vilest sinners worship Me with exclusive devotion, they are to be considered righteous, for they have made the proper resolve.

  1. I suggest to remove sinner and replace it with un-attuned fellow. Sinner is a Christian missionary concept, not even vouched by Christ. Sin is not a concept in any religion in fundamental basis. The moment sin exists, it means, there is a salvation for it. This dual has played minds of millions and made them god fearing. But tuning and retuning of our life with nature (dharma) alone exists. Relative difference can’t be sin, can it? This whole world is diversification of just relative levels of states of evolution and nothing else! This is what I feel. What say?
