You worship any
Of my form, I thus for you
Manifest Myself… // 7 – 21 //
The greatness of the Lord is seen in this shlok. One may worship Him in any form, he manifests Himself, for His devotee, in that form. Isn’t a beautiful feeling that God is ready to take any form for me. Just think over it!
The shlok for your reference :
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्त: श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति ।
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम् ।।
Whatever celestial form a devotee seeks to worship with faith, I steady the faith of such a devotee in that form.
-Astu-
but he condemns or disapproves demigod and idol worship in the previous verse. (7:20)-“Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.” It true that the next verse allows what you are saying but when you see Gita in totality, it becomes evident that idolatry and polytheism have been condemned and monotheism upheld. See for instance last chapter verse 66 (18:66) where he clearly asks to abandon all other practices and surrender to him only-“Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.”
Ab iske baavjood agar koi idol worship ko advocate or defend karta hai to bevkoofi hai ya fir uske shelfish reason hai kyunki pandito ka bahut bada business tika hua hai idol worship pe. Aap samajhdar hai, Sahi cheeze promote karen. May God guide and bless you. Best wishes! 🌹🌹🌹

my apologies for the harsh words. I read the 12th chapter. Among other things, it does provide that worship of God in unmanifested form (beyond any material conception) is the best form of worship and those who indulge in such devotion are superior and certainly attain the Godhead. (See 12:3-4). Other major issue it insist on is about being indifferent to happiness or distress, and being equal to friends and enemies(15,18,19). Best wishes! 🌹

And what does Chapter 12 Shlok 5 – 6 convey brother?

And what does Chapter 7 Shlok 20 and chapter 12:3-4, convey brother?
As far as Chapter 12 Shlok 5 – 6 are concerned, they convey everything about the inconsistency of Gita on this matter indicating that it might have been tampered, extrapolated or manipulated in the past. Also there are verses in it that militate against human dignity and constitutional provisions (https://atuldepak.com/2019/09/08/does-bhagavad-gita-advocate-the-caste-system/) Moreover in such arguments there are questionable assumptions about the infallibility of Gita. For me as a member of the Bahujan community, who has read other scriptures and Holy Quran, Gita is worthless except in so far as it confirms with later scriptures like Quran and then good constitutional provisions that preach about Human equality, dignity and egalitarianism and not caste based duties like Gita. My interest in Gita arose due to Quran which provides that there are fundamental principles of religion which are common in all scriptures of God and that Quran as the last scriptures from God confirms those values that are true and right in the previous revelations and rejects the manipulations. But it appears you are hell bent on supporting Panditism and idolatry by cherry-picking certain verses of Gita probably because you elitist, racist and casteist people don’t like thoughts emnating from non-elites because you people think that religion is your exclusive fiefdom. You will disregard Jesus (s) because he was a shepherd not a King and you will hate Muhammad (s) because he was tribal not a Jew and so on. I am done arguing with you here. Good wishes. May God guide and bless you.

Brother without knowing my views you have jump to conclusions. I never considered yourself as any type of person but just a Human.
So henceforth before commenting on my Blogs be prepared to talk in a balanced way as Shreemad Bhagwad Geeta propagates. Otherwise just keep your thoughts limited to your blogs…
And just for your information have read The Old and the New Testament along with the Holy Quran and Avesta.. and I have the highest of regards for all who have worked for the betterment of mankind…
I dont enforce my views on anyone and expect to be reciprocated in the same way…
If you cannot stand a small discussion where you started by cherry picking a few verses and stated your point. So I also asked you to look into others which according to you are tampered. I can do the same with you, but I will not as it does not befit anyone…
Regarding the Holy Quran I do not doubt it being a word of God, but who would agree with interpretations of today’s Maulavi sahabs. They too have caste system in them which you must be already knowing as Siya’s Sunni’s Wahabi’s Ahmadiya’s Bohra’s and many more. So it’s better not to talk about any religion.
Talking about idol worship I said in my first message itself I dont enforce my views on anyone… then why are you hellbent to call one who is promoting your views on me… when you came to know that you have entered into a conversation with someone who does his homework before commenting, now you say u dont want to argue… but through my first message itself I had told you am open for a discussion and I never argued. So please dont beat around the bush. You are free not to discuss but if you comment on my blog am entitled to give my viewpoint as well

If you have highest of regards for all who have worked for the betterment of mankind then don’t support or defend Gita that preaches caste system and caste based duties. Dalit-Bahujans burn such books in many of their meetings. Do you think they are fools?

We are talking about idol worship and not about Pandits and castes and Bahujans or Dalits… I have not got any Brahmin to any of my family functions and have performed all the rituals by myself…
Regarding calling someone fools or not I dont fall to such petty matters… to each his own…
And pls stick to the topic of Idol Worship! And do not beat around the bush

on idol worship, brother i would suggest you not to defend it nor indulge in it. It has been disapproved of and condemned not only by many scriptures (including Gita) but also by sages, and messengers (peace be upon them all) across ages as well as by great social reformers such as Buddha and Guru Nanak, etc and even by many Brahmins like Dayananda. I am telling you this because of my religious and spiritual obligation. otherwise i am no one to tell you what to do. God Almighty guides whom he wells. That’s it. you can surely discredit me but I wish for your well-being. best wishes!

I think my culture and civilisation allows me to follow the way I want to. If I am wrong will surely return back to the right path but at the same time I would pursue what I would like to. But with an open mind that will be ready to accept if anything is wrong and correct.
And yes I am not a great reformer like Mahaveer, Buddha or Guru Nanak Devji. Nor Swami Dayanand Saraswatiji.
But regarding spirituality two different beings can have two different experiences and we need to learn to accept that.
I have decided to tread on a path and I will walk on it. If I am hurt and if I bleed I will still walk on it and once I know that it is wrong will return back too. But let it be my own personal experience. I dont want anyone to tell me anything about it.
Thanks for your Brotherly concern though. I liked it. 🙏🙏🙏

Here i like Geeta, She says even after all this You do what you like यथेच्छसि तथा कुरू। This openness needs to be there with every Holy Book.

Am a student of Philosophy and I learn from every Holy Book… there are many who tell me to disregard Holy Bilble or Holy Quran or Holy Avesta… I dont… I accept them as they are…
It is always the followers who spoil the learnings and teachings of their Seers… Read Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad’s translation of Quran and you will love it…
And why only fight against Caste system? Fight against Class system too! Fight against Socialism Marxism and Fascism too… work for Humanity…
