He is one of the best sons of Mother India, who worked for Her tirelessly and gave up his life for Her. A man of emotions. A simpleton who rose from a background of nothing to becoming the PM of this country.
A man of short body stature but of big ideas.
A visionary of Green Revolution.
One who balanced War and Peace, which can be heard and understood in his clarion call of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”.
Am surprised that he has earned so much respect that on his call of fasting one day a week, many a people gave up food for a Day or atleast one time in a week. But none of our history books teach us or talk to us about such values he tried to inculcate in every Indians lives.
Many people will write about the Mahatma today and how his philosophy is still a need for this shattering world. But a few will write about this man who lived on the principles of the Mahatma. The world today needs people who not only philosophise but also live by the same values. And Shastriji is one of such shining gems.
And such a great son of India was allegedly killed at Tashkent. It’s a mystery which needs to be investigated. People have researched many facts available today and have come out with them. Waiting to lay my hands on the book written by Anuj Dhar “Your Prime Minister is dead”. Even a movie is being made and is to be released in a few days/months.
Our Namaskaars to this great son of India on his birthday.
Very nice..
