30th August 2018…
A day after Mumbai came to a standstill…
A story of the people of Mumbai who keep smiling in every situation…
A story of the people of Mumbai who always help each other…
A story of the people of Mumbai who never discriminate, never fight, never hate…
318 mm of rain in 6-9 hours and Mumbai comes to a halt… Trains halt, roads halt, airways halt (only for an hour or two)…
People stuck in trains, on roads, in offices… People without food and water… People without shelter…
Where is the caring Neta? No where to be seen… Not even heard… The votes he has garnered and made him a Councillor, MLA or a MP… Where is he/she?…
What is the media doing?… Just to increase its TRP showing the plight of the Mumbaikars and criticizing the local as well as state and central government and machinery…
What is the Mumbaikar doing?…
He is making food at home so he can help feed a few loitering on the roads and opening up his home so a few can be sheltered at his place…
The temple, gurudwaras, churches and a few Ganesh Mandap with a few NGO’s opening up their doors for food and shelter…
People helping each other without asking each other their religion, caste and creed… Today we all are humans first, Hindu,Muslims, Christians later… The walls of rich and poor are broken into shambles by the heavy downpour… The gap between the haves and the have nots filled upto the brim with lots of love and warmth…
Let us keep this spirit alive everyday, every moment… Let us not wait for the rains to get us together again…
Salute the spirit of Mumbaikar…
Mumbaikar gives the feeling of humanity and shows that if people come together with will then nobody cant stop upliftment of society and recreation of equality

True Bhai…
At least at the time of such events we focus on others …Care each other..And that’s precisely in spite of not having systems and resources we pull our city quickly out of such calamities..
But it is still reactive…If we can do the same in regular days we can become self running city

Very lucidly written with feeling of concern and care. Less said is the better for Netaas… They apply ‘vanishing cream’ very regularly. Yesterday the ‘Yuvaraj’ had tweeted it seems that ‘stay where you are, please don’t venture out’. He was not wrong, he was more than sure about the blunders they have created. Anyways the spirit of Mumbai will never die and that is utterly beneficial for these superficial setter Netaas. Sadly the ruling party who had made tall claims that we will control the functioning of BMC too have miserably failed. Shameless BJP leaders were superly criticising their counterpart even in such a situation….
