But my question is that “Is India so small to be Modified?”…
When will we, the so called literate and educated class, realise that India is country of diversity… It has Ram but is never Ramafied (sorry for the English)… It has Shiv but is never Sivafied… It has Buddha but never Buddhafied… It has Gandhi, Patel, Indira but was never over indulgent with them…Just a few years ago it was Rajiv, then VP Singh, later Atalji… But never have these people said anything like this… Nor does Modi say so… He is humble in his origins is seen through his talks atleast…
India, Herself is a big thought to be daunted by such names… She has seen many a great names and people blossom in Her bosom, yet as a caring mother, She has maintained Her identity and lived on…
We need to come out of this slavish mindset of a few western countries who have no such bigger history as ours… Americans can be Trumped but Britain is never Thatchered nor Mayed ever…
If we are a democracy then we can never be Modified or Gandhified or anything… As democracy itself is all inclusive… Diverse thoughts will and should exist… Cause Diversity is the essence of democracy…
Let us all remember India and worship Her… Let us all tread the path destined by Her for us… Accept all the diverse thoughts around us yet have our own say in them…

Dear Amit, as always very elucidative language and point well taken. I really liked the coining of words Ramafied etc…. About modification…the change, development is always welcome but sadly the modification has remained restricted to outbound change and development. No one has courage to look within and internal modification and development? Of course i know very well that it’s not a cup of tea of any politician, it’s beyond him however charishma he has, but still….
