What does this have to do with my topic? I feel the results show our attitude. We believe in ourselves. We do not consider anyone kings of Mumbai except ourselves. Giving a hung verdict proves that.
It is generally the politicians who make people fight amongst themselves. Here it is quite the opposite. Fight amongst yourselves to try to rule Mumbai. Go on for 5 years and come back again.
Read about the Marathi Gujarati divide amongst voting patterns being discussed in media. But again this divide if it exists is only during elections, otherwise we are all one. Just take a public vehicle during these days to experience what I say.
Lastly, Mumbaikars carefree yet alert attitude has worked. No one can rule them. And that is smart and truly beautiful.
Once a person belongs to Mumbai he is a mumbaikar. He completely gels into the city. And bears an attitude that every mumbaikar has…
