Mumbaiyya attitude

After a long time…

Kept a little busy with work at my work place…

Taken up a topic which is dear to my heart and life…. Mumbaiyya attitude…

Carefree yet alert

Smart and beautiful

Diverse yet amalgamating

After the Municipal Corporation elections, wanted to write about it. Mumbai’s attitude is reflected in the hung verdict in the corporation elections…

No doubt that BJP has gained the maximum during this election but the smart people of Mumbai have not given them a majority…

Shivsena has gain a little so it’s hold on Mumbai still exist but people have send alarm bells by not giving them a majority… Miss Balasaheb though…

Congress relegated to third place with dismal 31 seats, keeps them in contention of being kingmakers if BJP and ShivSena do not come together…

No need to comment on NCP as it is badly bruised, hurt or rather decimated not only in Mumbai but Maharashtra as well…

Read about the Marathi Gujarati divide amongst voting patterns being discussed in media. But again this divide if it exists is only during elections, otherwise we are all one. Just take a public vehicle during these days to experience what I say.

Lastly, Mumbaikars carefree yet alert attitude has worked. No one can rule them. And that is smart and truly beautiful.

Once a person belongs to Mumbai he is a mumbaikar. He completely gels into the city. And bears an attitude that every mumbaikar has…
